Jewellery Care Guide
Jewellery Care Guide
Preserve the Beauty. Protect the Sentiment.
Your OFJ jewellery is crafted to be cherished, admired, and ultimately passed down through generations. With a little care and attention, your piece can remain as radiant as the day it was made.
1. Handle with Love
Always hold your jewellery by the band or shank, never by the centre stone, as it can apply pressure to delicate prongs and settings.
Over time, prongs (especially in gold settings) may loosen due to daily wear. Be gentle when wearing or removing rings.
2. Store It Right
Store your jewellery in the original OFJ box or a fabric-lined jewellery case to protect it from dust, humidity, and scratches.
Always store pieces separately to avoid tangling and scratching.
Keep it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
3. Beauty First, Then Jewellery
Apply perfume, lotions, and cosmetics before wearing your jewellery. Chemicals in these products can tarnish metals and dull the brilliance of gemstones.
After use, gently polish your jewellery with the OFJ microfiber cloth provided to keep it shining like new.
4. Off During Chores & Play
Remove your jewellery before doing household chores, gardening, or engaging in any physical activities or sports. This prevents accidental knocks, chemical exposure, or unnecessary wear.
5. Schedule a Check-Up
Like any precious possession, jewellery benefits from occasional check-ups. Bring your OFJ piece in for inspection if you notice any looseness or dullness — we’ll help restore its original beauty.
A little care goes a long way in preserving what matters most.
OFJ jewellery is more than adornment — it’s a legacy
